Last year I made a video every single day, for about a month, of different things I was practicing. Instead of actually recording myself practicing for hours (boooring), each video was more of a summary of different drills and exercises I was focusing on, plus the mindset of why those were beneficial. Plus how some of those exercises naturally evolved into actual musical ideas.
I purposely didn’t include conversations about emulating licks, doing covers, playing to the radio, or things like that because I didn’t want to waste the viewer’s time by going over obvious things. Those things are also an extremely important part of your practice time, I just wanted to make videos focusing on the lesser talked about stuff.
All of these videos are pretty random but I think they paint a good picture overall. I would recommend clicking on a few because they are all pretty different, even from one day to the next, since my aim was to show the viewer how varied a month of practice session should be.
